Kwale Clinic

The Spirit Of The Sovereign LORD Is On Me, Because The LORD Has Anointed Me To Preach Good News To The Poor. . . They Will Be Called Oaks Of Righteousness, A Planting Of The LORD For The Display Of His Splendor.

Our History

Kwale Mission Station is the second Mission Station of Nairobi Baptist Church, and is coordinated and supported from the Global Missions and Outreach Office. The Church adopted, the Digo Community in 2008, an unreached people group in Kwale. A medical clinic was set up in response to the great need for healthcare in the community. Previously, the residents were not well served with a medical facility resulting to most patients being taken to hospital only when critically ill, which led to high motality rate, especially among children. The community named the clinic ‘Mwangaza’ which means light. We praise God for allowing us to be a shining light for the community over the past years.  The Clinic, ‘Dima Mwangaza Clinic’, was constructed in collaboration with local and international partners, on land that was donated by the community.

In the course of serving the community, it has become clear that maternal health care needs to be enhanced in the area. The church has therefore purchased an adjacent parcel of land for construction of a maternity ward. It has been a privilege to serve this community and look forward to the light of Jesus Christ shining brighter and brighter among the residents.

Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty, build capacity and grow relationships with the residents through the following pillars:
